Alex Lutz:

Alex Lutz is the CEO and co-founder of TRAVEL TECH Mohs Services, Inc. Alex has his Bachelor's Degree in Medical Microbiology (1993) from Cal. State University Long Beach and has been a full-time working mohs technician for the past 18 years. He is an active member of the American Society for Mohs Surgery (ASMS) and has been on faculty for their "Fundamentals for Mohs" course since 1995. Since 2002 he has been the Course Director for the technician side. In 2004, Alex became the mohs tech program coordinator for the ASMS Clinical Symposium held annually in May and with the help of many added a mohs tech side to the meeting covering more advanced concepts than is possible for the Fundamentals course.

Alex is a charter member of the American Society for Mohs Histotechnology(ASMH) which is affiliated with the American College for Mohs Surgery (ACMS) and has been active lecturing and running their cryostat workshop from 2006 through 2008. Alex has run workshops for the California Society of Histotechnology and is very active educating mohs technicians nationally.

Karen Lutz:
Karen Lutz is the CFO and cofounder of TRAVEL TECH Mohs Services, Inc. Karen Lutz has her Bachelor’s Degree in General Microbiology (1993) from Cal State University Long Beach and has been a full-time working mohs technician for the past 15years. She has been on faculty for the ASMS “Fundamentals for Mohs “ Course since 2000. Karen has lectured multiple times for the annual ASMS Clinical Symposium held in May and is instrumental in refining the mohs protocol that is used by our technicians.
